In an index conducted by Barclays, it was recently revealed that entrepreneurial activity across the UK had hit an all-time high, despite the year's uncertainties surrounding the state of the economy following the shock Brexit vote back in the summer.

The index found that every region of the UK saw entrepreneurial growth this year, with the UK as a whole seeing a 10% rise in entrepreneurial performance. There was a 4% increase in the number of active businesses in the UK over the last 12 months – with over 345,000 new business incorporations.
