Citylocal UK has launched a new App that helps people find information about their locality, wherever they are, on their mobile device. By doing so, they have created a remarkable single source of local information and a must-have travel companion.
With over 400 towns, cities and county locations covered UK wide; the Citylocal App provides users with unprecedented granularity in one application. By doing this, Citylocal takes the meaning of local search to a whole new level.
The Android and iPhone versions enable people to easily select their location and then it cleverly screens information that is relevant to that location. Weather forecasts, cinema times, local news, events, properties or cars for sale and jobs are all there. Searches for businesses, like shops, hair dressers or restaurants return results relevant to location. And if the businesses are running offers on Citylocal, users can simply show the respective e-voucher on their Smartphone to redeem in-store!

The Citylocal App, like the full website site, is interactive too. Anybody can add content onto the App, by simply becoming a member of the live website – www.citylocal.co.uk, and then adding content. Once approved, it becomes live on both the Website and Smartphone App.
