Direct sales and marketing specialists Atlas Outsourcing attended the 2015 Sales and Marketing Awards in Baltimore, Maryland at the weekend.
Matt Stewart of Atlas Outsourcing, travelled to Baltimore recently to attend the American Sales and Marketing Awards Ceremony, held at the Hippodrome Theatre.The Hippodrome Theatre is a former vaudeville theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. Built back in 1914 for impresarios Pierce and Scheck, the venue was the foremost vaudeville house in Baltimore, as well as a movie theatre. It seats 2300 people making it the perfect venue for the event as it was big enough to hold the number of attendees but created more of an intimate atmosphere than an arena.
The event was attended by sales and marketing professionals from across the US as well as some international guests.The one-day event kicked off with an awards ceremony, where some of the sales and marketing industry's top performers, in America, were recognised for their achievements over the last 12 months.The awards ceremony was followed by a session with guest speakers, some who had flown in especially for the occasion.To add some fun to the event there were spot prizes - worth thousands of dollars - given out sporadically throughout the day which included: Macbooks, Beats headphones and wireless speakers.The fun continued with the introduction of a money-grabbing machine where attendees were allowed 45 seconds to grab as many notes as possible.
Matt Stewart began his trip 3 days earlier when he landed in New York City, where he spent time networking with international business owners in his field of sales and marketing. For the trip to Baltimore, Matt hired a sports car to drive to the city where he stayed at the 5-star Four Seasons Hotel.
