About the Author:

S L Wigmore is a wife and mum — which keeps her very busy — but writing has been a constant throughout her life. She has always had a deep connection to the stories she creates, able to picture every scene clearly in her mind; sometimes, she says, it feels as though she is living inside the story herself.

The spark for YoHo came in an unexpected moment — the opening bars of a well-loved pirate anthem — and from that single image, Sapphire and her extraordinary journey were born.
