Launched in 2010, G-Startup Worldwide has become the most influential startup competition held around the world that finds high-potential and early-stage startups. This year, GMIC (Global Mobile Internet Conference) launched a new series of G-Startup Worldwide competitions. Our first competition will officially kick off today on July 30th, when applications will open for startup teams all over the world. Selected by our world-renowned global judging panel, the global top ten winners will be awarded at our GMIC Live Pro scheduled on September 25th and receive the opportunity to enroll in our first-ever New Generation Bootcamp.

Since 2010, G-Startup alumni have raised $11.6 Billion. Previous finalists have been acquired by companies like Google, Amazon, Alibaba, Apple, and Pinterest. Our alumni include Didi Chuxing, App Annie, and Wandoujia. With the mission to become the No. 1 launching platform of high-quality startups around the world, G-Startup focuses on seeking entrepreneurs under the age of 40 and mentoring the younger generation of brilliant entrepreneurs.

Winners of G-Startup Worldwide 2020 will receive the opportunity to enroll in our first-ever New Generation Bootcamp. The Bootcamp will start in December with the first stop in Boston, followed by locations in Israel, India, China from March to September 2021. Along with 5 company executives recommended by G-Startup’s Global Judging Panel and 5 local well-known entrepreneurs, mentors from different industries will lead the 10 selected teams to study for 4 days at each site, renewing their understanding of scientific entrepreneurship.

Winners will also receive the opportunity to pitch on stage at GMIC Live Pro 2020. The online event will potentially draw over 100 million viewers and will be covered by over 100 media organizations including Forbes, TechCrunch, Toutiao, Tencent, NetEase, etc.

G-Startup judges are world-famous venture capitalists and technology leaders who will provide candid feedback on your pitch and help you define the next steps of your startup. Some of our past judges include:

G-Startup Worldwide 2020’s Global Judging Panel will consist of 10 investors, 3 scientists, 3 entrepreneurs, 2 social media influencers, and 2 media professionals from innovation centers in China, USA, U.K., Israel, India, and Japan.

Startup Eligibility:

  • Registration: Each team must register as a company. The person who registers must be the founder, co-founder, or the first natural person shareholder
  • Qualifications: The candidate must be a Seed/A/B/C stage startup with a high-performance team, a good business model, proved application scenarios, and frontier technology or product.
  • Industries: 5G, AI, Robotics/Drone, AR/VR/MR, Aerospace, Education, Medicals, Digital Economy, New Materials, and more
  • Age requirement: Selected teams’ main founder should be under the age of 40, except for 3 teams chosen as wild cards
