VIVID VIRTUAL LAUNCHES WITH “THE KIM KARDASHIAN SUPERSTAR VR EXPERIENCE”

LOS ANGELES—(October 26, 2016)—Vivid Entertainment, the world’s most acclaimed adult film company, has launched its virtual reality site VividVirtual.com.

To mark the debut of the new service Vivid introduced The Kim Kardashian Superstar VR Experience, which enables fans to feel an unprecedented intimate connection with one of the most celebrated pop culture figures of the era.

“Early reactions to VividVirtual.com have been fantastic,” said Michael H. Klein, President of Broadcasting & Internet for Vivid. “VividVirtual.com offers exclusive new adult content shot specifically for VR viewing as well as completely re-imagined ways to enjoy our most popular movies and other content.”

Klein noted that fans are able to access the site with all VR methods, including Oculus (Rift headsets), Samsung (Gear VR), Google Cardboard or any other VR equipment they have.

Vivid worked closely on the new site with 3XStudios, a leading VR development company. Adam Block, co-founder and CEO of 3XStudios, said, “We knew that Vivid was the ideal brand for us to partner with. Their over 30 year legacy of offering the industry’s most award winning and highly sought after videos really aligns with our capabilities in the VR space.”

Vivid Entertainment, through its television division VividTV, signed an agreement earlier this year with Totalmedia Solutions S.A. of Luxembourg to expand sales and marketing across Europe and Africa. VividTV Europe is a 24/7 adult channel designed specifically for the European viewer, it combines popular local content with Vivid’s best-selling programming. The company’s robust VOD service, also offered throughout Europe, is customized to the needs of each affiliate. In addition to the explicit VividTV Europe network, the company also has a new soft erotic channel under the Vivid Touch brand. A second explicit channel is in development. Totalmedia Solutions offers all three networks.
