UK-BASED START-UP EXPERTEASE TUITION SHORTLISTED FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION AWARD!

News provided by ExpertEase Tuition Global on Wednesday 29th Jan 2020

Online educational platform ExpertEase Tuition Global, a United Kingdom-based start-up designed to match students with experienced and qualified teachers, has been shortlisted for a prestigious Global Education Supplies and Solutions (GESS) award. Alongside that, ExpertEase will also be exhibiting at the GESS Dubai 2020 conference from 25th – 27th February; The United Arab Emirates only exhibition dedicated to educational solutions.

Launched in 2019 by former Deputy Head of Sixth Form Jade Gill, ExpertEase Tuition is an online platform that has been specifically designed to match students with highly experienced and qualified teachers. With the private tuition industry being completely unregulated, the quality of tuition can vary massively between teachers; leaving many students and parents facing confusion when trying to select a relevant tutor for their studies.

ExpertEase aims to transform the industry and cater for all types of students by offering expert, high-quality tuition for all Key Stage 2-5 subjects. Each tutor on the ExpertEase platform has to have at least five years’ tutoring experience in some of the UK’s leading schools and educational facilities before they are approved.

Alongside that, each tutor is DBS checked and has to undergo a rigorous check before being allowed to feature on the platform. They are also required to have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); meaning students will always be able to receive the best possible tuition. In fact, many are also subject examiners for UK exam boards so are able to offer students unrivalled knowledge of the subject matter.

The unique online platform covers popular subjects such as English, Maths and Science but it is the flexibility that is proving most popular with students. With no minimum commitment, students are able to enrol on a week-by-week basis; allowing them to prepare for upcoming examinations in their own time. Courses are offered either as part of a group lesson (which begin at £20 per person per lesson) or a more intensive one-to-one tutoring program (which starts at £45 per person per hour, rising to £75 per person per hour depending on the experience of the tutor).

Despite being less than a year old, ExpertEase Tuition has proved incredibly popular and this success has seen the company shortlisted for a prestigious Global Education Supplies and Solutions (GESS) award. The UK-based platform is just one of five global businesses who has been shortlisted for the ‘Start-up company of the year’ category and it tops an incredible 12 months for the brand.

2020 marks the seventh consecutive GESS Education awards and this year’s event will be held on the 26th February at the H Hotel in Dubai. The award ceremony is designed to highlight and reward the quality and diversity of educational products, resources, services and people. ExpertEase Tuition Global are the only UK-based company to be shortlisted for the GESS Awards start-up category and they are joined as finalists by fellow start-ups Clever Play, Kide Science, New Nordic School and E-Sports 4 Kids.

The Global Educational Supplies and Solutions is a worldwide organisation designed to help educational corporations to network, research and increase revenues. With three annual conferences around the world, ExpertEase Tuition will also be exhibiting at the Dubai exhibition which runs alongside the 2020 award ceremony.

Speaking ahead of the awards ceremony and the Dubai exhibition, Jade Gill, owner of ExpertEase Tuition added “I’m incredibly proud that ExpertEase Tuition Global has been shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘Start-up of the year’ category at the GESS awards. It cements what has been an incredible opening year of business for us as a company.

When I founded ExpertEase, my aim was to help students to not only build their knowledge on a chosen subject but also boost their self-confidence. For too long the private tuition industry has been unregulated and difficult to navigate, so our unique online platform is able to connect students with world-class teachers, wherever they are in the world. As a company, we strive to ensure that each tutor we feature shares our passion and dedication for providing the very best learning experience possible for our students, from Key Stage 2 to A-Levels.

I’ve seen first-hand how many parents have to face the daunting decision of choosing the right tutor for their child, so ExpertEase has been designed to reduce that difficulty and focus on the education of the pupil. I can’t wait for the awards ceremony next month as well as the GESS Dubai 2020 conference where we will be able to spread the ExpertEase Tuition Global message to even more people.”
