News provided by The Roll Out the barrel trust on Friday 12th Mar 2021

WORLD 'RECORD' CHALLENGE:

22nd March.  UN World Water Day.

The Water Song

7 kids from the slums of Kampala Uganda got together (the Kazo Kids of Kawempe) and with a bit of help from a UK water charity and a rotary club, recorded The Water Song for World Water Day to highlight the plight of getting clean water to drink for over a billion people worldwide.

The #WorldWaterDay Challenge is to attempt a world 'record' for every radio station around the world to play the same 'record' on the same day, at least once on World Water Day.

Call your local radio station, get them on board.
