Ahh, Valentine’s Day - slushy cards, calorie overload and cosy couples? Depending on your circumstances, February 14th may be either a lovefest or a day for avoiding the commercial hype. If you're one of the latter, you could consider sharing a different kind of affection this time around?

We heart cats

With thousands of cats in rescue throughout the UK and Ireland, our heroic rescue and welfare workers do what they can to help those that have found themselves lost, abandoned or simply no longer wanted. Cat Chat, a web-based UK charity which includes Sir Roger Gale and beloved icon, Bagpuss, among its patrons, is celebrating 20 years of helping to connect these friendly felines with their new forever homes.

Marking this important milestone, Cat Chat the first charity to feature rescued cats for adoption on-line is running it's ‘Twenty for 2020’ campaign. The aim is to find homes for 20 cats who have spent more time than most waiting in rescue for a loving new home. What could be better than spreading some love than by sharing the campaign or better still, your home with one of our forsaken felines!
