SocialBox.Biz and The C4WS Homeless Project Celebrate First Year in Partnership - #ESG , #CIO , #CSR, #social impact , #corpgov

LONDON, UK, MAY 30, 2019 - SocialBox.Biz and The C4WS Homeless Project have worked together over the past year to connect homeless people with exciting new career and educational opportunities with tech. The two organizations are thrilled to see how many people this partnership helps throughout 2019 and for years to come.

The C4WS Homeless Project has provided shelter and support for homeless people since 2005, including English classes, mentoring, and The C4WS Jobs Club. As it stands, the non-profit supports 300 homeless people per year with more than 800 volunteers.

SocialBox Biz procures outdated tech from companies, provide on site data solutions and donates it with open source software to homeless people via partnerships with charities such as The C4WS Homeless Project.

As the number of homeless people rises, the need to connect these people with tech so that they can find jobs and education is imperative. Social Box Biz and The C4WS Homeless Project are proud to be able to help homeless people overcome obstacles and get back on their feet with laptops and are looking forward to what the next year of their mission together brings.

The C4WS Homeless Project continues to make a profound impact on the homeless population by working with people who are so often forgotten in the “system”. With a mission that’s also aligned with decreasing homelessness, Social Box Biz intends on creating a team of former homeless youth to perform on-site date and software services.
