Scotland's best entrepreneurs are being given the opportunity to win recognition under a prestigious awards programme called Entrepreneurial Scotland, in association with Deloitte and media partner The Herald. The scheme was set up to highlight the wealth of business talent in the country; with the awards showcasing the vital role that entrepreneurs play, whether they are leading new or well established businesses. Entrepreneurial Scotland knows that with the presence of more entrepreneurs, more jobs and wealth will be created and it will contribute to society more than any other group. The scheme believes that connecting future leaders with the leaders of ambitious, growing companies will ignite real economic growth in Scotland.
Scotland is committed to becoming the most entrepreneurial society in the world, which is a big ambition, but one that the country believes they can achieve if they support and encourage their existing and future business leaders.
The entry form can be downloaded from the Entrepreneurial Scotland website (www.entrepreneurialscotland.com) and must be completed and returned by 12 noon on August 14. The winners will be announced from a final shortlist of three in each category at an awards dinner at the Thistle Glasgow Hotel on November 25.
