ROBERT ENGSTLER NEW EUROPEAN REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Bentley Motors has today announced that Robert Engstler will become Regional Director for Europe, with effect from October 1, 2014. He will succeed Bart Gerris, who will take up another position within the Volkswagen Group.

Robert Engstler will report directly to Kevin Rose, Member of the Board for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales of Bentley. Kevin commented: “I am delighted to welcome Robert to the Bentley team. Europe is a key region for us, where we have seen consistent growth for a number of years. We still see a lot of potential and will expand our network presence and our sales. I am very confident Robert is the right person to lead our European operations in this direction.”

Robert Engstler (45) joins Bentley from Porsche Holding Salzburg, where he held the position of Managing Director of Exclusive Cars Vienna for nearly 15 years. Before this, he worked with a number of premium brands in the automotive retail industry spanning a further ten years. Robert is a native Austrian, born in Linz/Danube.

China continued its position as the second biggest market with 1,318 cars, while in Europe, deliveries reached 825 cars.
