PERMALI GLOUCESTER SELECTED TO SUPPLY COMPOSITE BALLISTIC ARMOUR FOR SUPACAT HMT EXTENDA VEHICLE
Permali's comprehensive bid response, together with their at-risk testing and engineering design activity, gave us the requisite levels of confidence.
Permali Gloucester Ltd has recently been awarded a contract to supply composite ballistic armour panels to Supacat. The panels will provide ballistic protection on a specific HMT Extenda vehicle being designed and built for a major order that Supacat will be delivering in 2017/18.
The contract was won following a competition, which required Permali to demonstrate ballistic performance, against a demanding set of requirements, in the wide range of environmental temperatures the vehicle will be exposed to. The performance parameters had to be demonstrated whilst remaining within a tightly controlled system weight budget.
Stu Olden, Sales Manager for Land Systems at Permali commented: “This is a significant contract for Permali.
