When Chris Hill lost his twin brother to alcohol and drugs, it became his life’s passion to educate others on the process of beating addiction. His own life has been a journey through all kinds of addictions, from smoking his first cigarette at the age of 7 to using crack cocaine and heroin some 20 years later.

“I always knew there was something fundamentally wrong with what I was doing but I had no way out, or so I thought,” said Chris.

After 100 attempts lead Chris to study the subject of addiction for over 10 years to discover the secret to sustaining his recovery. And now, he wants to share this knowledge with the world through his highly anticipated book titled, Get Your Life Back – The Road to Freedom from Addiction.

“Unless you truly understand the impact addiction has on the human mind, it is nearly impossible to make the necessary changes in your life,” added Chris.

GET YOUR LIFE BACK is Chris Hill's first book and hit a No. 1 Amazon Best Seller within 24 hours of release. It is a great achievement but there is still so much to do. I have an answer to the addiction problem and I am looking for people of influence who can help me spread this message and save lives.

The official book launch is on 3rd November at Millwall Football Club, Zampa Road, London SE16 3LN. The event starts 6:30pm and finishes at 10:00pm. Dress code is smart casual.

There will be press and some famous faces there plus entertainment. "I would be delighted if you would come and join us."

Addiction affects every single one of us whether it is health problems, relationship problems or even money problems and can stem from things like refined sugar, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, drugs and even gambling. There is a huge problem in society and I am to raise this awareness and reach out to those that are suffering and through this book and subsequent seminars I plan to change the way we see and treat addiction.

To coincide with the launch, Chris lead a 24 hour Facebook live stream from his home in South London where he was joined by guests, he was able to auction off goods kindly provided by supporters and raised £2500 for the samaritans.

Books to will be available to purchase on the night and all profits will be donated to the Samaritans.
