MPA Group launches new website

The MPA Group, which offers accountancy service to innovators, has launched a new website as part of its rebranding at the end of a "remarkable" year, which has seen the launch of a employee share scheme, a relocation, and placement in the prestigious Accountancy Age 50 + 50 rankings.

Branded in smart red and grey, the slick new website outlines The MPA Group's services, introduces the company team, and showcases client testimonials.

Specialist services offered by the company include helping customers to access government funds that have been set aside to encourage innovation Europe-wide.

With its expertise in the area of innovation, the group has helped hundreds of customers to successfully claim tax credits for their research and development efforts.

Brought in 14 years ago and set in stone until at least 2031, the HMRC-administered R&D Tax Credit scheme is part of an EU-supported drive to boost innovation across Europe, including in the UK. It works through tax relief to organisations of all sizes, even those making a loss, which advance understanding and skills in their sphere of expertise.

The MPA Group manages claims on behalf of clients for these tax credits.

Another service featured on the website is advice on Patent Box, which came into effect last year and is being phased in over five years to give a reduced rate of corporation tax on profits from patents. The scheme is aimed at organisations with profitable patents, those with products and processes that could be patented, or currently loss-making patents set to become more profitable in the future.

Again, the aim is to urge organisations to become more innovative, and attract more business with overseas businesses, so that ultimately employment and GDP are raised.
