MoonX Announces Million Dollar challenge to Fintech Companies to Compete against its Speed

News provided by MoonX Technologies on Wednesday 22nd Apr 2020

MoonX recently revealed details of its electronic trading software that achieved a throughput of 20 Million transactions per second (TPS) and a matching engine latency of 6 nanoseconds with the lowest round trip gateway-to-gateway latency of less than 1 microseconds.

Today, MoonX bet a million dollars that no electronic exchange would outperform its TPS, trading engine latency and gateway-to-gateway latency.

The trading software of MoonX can support order book depth of 50,000 orders with 200+ price points delivering the specified throughput with ultra-low latency. The beauty of this engine architecture is that it works on high-end commodity hardware and capable of executing millions of orders within a blink of an eye. The leanness of the engine makes it the choice of high-frequency traders.

Exceptionally well thought of architecture is the underlying powerhouse for MoonX that enables its clients to launch sophisticated products such as derivatives, exotic instruments and Payment Gateways in the shortest time. The binding of new-age NOC/SOC processes and setup, with AI & ML, enabled RMS and security system makes it a package for privileged trading experience. MoonX also has its line of wallets and custodial solutions to integrate every touchpoint of traders that is backed by unique blockchain technology.

With a high range, savage performance and arguably the best handling of the specified load, the MoonX is a hallmark trading software. Now, it’s ready with an open challenge of worth 1 million USD posing to the electronic trading software market. Any engine that could prove to have a speed faster than MoonX’s wins the 1 million USD.

Timing of the challenge: MoonX $1 Million Dollar Challenge begins April 23rd, 2020 at 6 am UTC and ends on May 10th, 2020 6 am UTC.

Who can enter the challenge: The challenge is open to all electronic trading software builders, for both in the traditional and digital assets market with a minimum One Million TPS and a gateway to gateway roundtrip latency of less than 3 Microseconds that includes necessary validations, risk checks and Hardware/Network time. Submission of the proof will be validated by comparing the reports submitted with real Binary (or FIX) API level validation, data captured using Wireshark/TAP devices and the functional use cases used for carrying out the tests that generated the data. Challengers can submit their report, proofs and pertinent details via email to us at If there is not sufficient information submitted that substantiate the challenger’s claim for their system performance to meet the criteria, it will be considered as incomplete submission and thereby be rejected.

*MoonX reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any potential submissions. All submissions are subject to additional terms and conditions.
