MNB Brings Handmade Autumn Magic to Edinburgh this October

Autumn is coming to Edinburgh and MNB Scotland CIC is celebrating with a day packed with handmade creativity, independent makers and just the right amount of spooky.

On Saturday 3 October, MNB returns to the much-loved Out of the Blue Drill Hall for its Autumn Craft Market, bringing together 25 carefully curated independent makers, artists, and creatives for a colourful celebration of all things handmade.

Running from 10am until 4pm, the market will be completely free to attend (free entry tickets are on Skiddle) and visitors can expect everything from jewellery and illustration to ceramics, textiles, homeware, art, accessories and plenty of funky trinkets.

And, as always with MNB, handmade really does mean handmade.

No AI slop. No drop-shippers. No mass-produced tat pretending to be handmade. Just real people making real things and the chance to buy directly from the artists and makers behind them.

Alongside the market, visitors can enjoy great food and drinks from the Drill Hall Café, music, art, creativity, and plenty of autumn and also early Halloween atmosphere. Pets are welcome too, with the venue being pet friendly and accessible.

The first hour of the market, from 10am to 11am, will be MNB's Sensory Hour, offering a quieter shopping experience with no music, no flashing lights, and reduced noise for visitors who prefer a calmer environment.

MNB Scotland CIC is an Edinburgh-based non-profit organisation dedicated to creating welcoming, inclusive markets that champion independent makers, artists and small creative businesses. Its markets are carefully curated, with a focus on genuinely handmade work, accessibility and creating events that feel as much about community as they do shopping.
