Media Agency Group and its specialist digital subdivision, Click Tap Media, are proud to showcase some of the fantastic work being coordinated by one of our latest social media clients, Feeding The World.
The UK registered charity has recently joined forces with MAG as it launches a global campaign to alleviate the difficulties of those abroad, especially refugees and migrants escaping war and poverty, as well as granting support for hundreds of homeless people in the UK. We've been tasked with assisting the charity through social media management on Twitter and Facebook.Coinciding with the launch of the social media campaigns, as well as a brand new www.feedingtheworld.org.uk website, the charity has recently taken part in a major campaign to aid those around Europe who are suffering as part of the current refugee crisis.
After gaining exposure through an interview with the BBC at York Food Festival, the Feeding The World team were able to raise enough funds to buy a van and travel across Europe to the Austrian border, driving non-stop for almost 24 hours through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany before arriving at Wien Hauptbahnhof, the major train station in Austrian capital Vienna.
The team arrived with a wealth of food, water and clean clothes to aid around 2,000 refugees and migrants in Austria, the majority of whom are fleeing from the current crisis in Syria. The charity has already made a huge difference to thousands of lives, but more can still be done. To help text REFG28 £AMOUNT to 70070.
