Next Wednesday, law firm Weil and E-Commerce 4Gadgets are partnering up to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust by recycling old mobile phones and tablets.

Weil is an international law firm with approximately 1,100 lawyers in 20 offices around the world. . 4Gadgets is a growing E-Commerce company which specialise in selling second hand mobile phones and tablets at a fraction of the cost of new devices. Michael, from 4Gadgets, says:

"If you aren't familiar with the great work of The Sick Children's Trust we will give you a quick insight into their work. On average, two million children in the UK require hospital treatment each year. Every day, children are diagnosed with serious life-threatening illnesses or have terrible accidents that leave them fighting for life. They often have to be transferred to specialist hospitals far from home to receive critical medical treatment. Life for their whole family is suddenly thrown into complete turmoil.

"The Sick Children's Trust believe every family with a seriously ill child in hospital should be able to stay together, just minutes from their child's bed during their treatment. They also believe keeping families together significantly improves the recovery of seriously ill children. They provide free, high-quality 'Home from Home' accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support to families with sick children in hospital in the UK. That's the future they are working towards and we are happy to support such a great cause."

On 24 February, 4Gadgets will be working in Weil's London offices to support The Sick Children's Trust. Weil staff will have the opportunity throughout the day to donate old mobile phones and tablets to raise money for The Sick Children's Trust. 4Gadget's will quote the value of these devices then Weil staff can donate this money to The Sick Children's Trust. 4Gadgets will then take these devices back to their offices where all handsets will be data cleansed. 4Gadgets will then assess the sale price of these devices and donate this balance to The Sick Children's Trust. These handsets will then be sold on the company's website www.4Gadgets.co.uk or recycled. Michael continues:

"We hope that 4Gadget's and Weil together can help support the great work of the Sick Children's Trust by donating all money raised on the day."
