Lacock Scarecrow Trail Returns – 19th & 20th July 2025

The ever-popular Lacock Scarecrow Trail is back this summer, bringing a weekend of fun, creativity and community spirit to the historic village of Lacock on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025.

Now a firm fixture in the local calendar, the trail invites visitors to explore Lacock while hunting down a collection of brilliantly imaginative scarecrows, created by local residents, schools and groups. This year’s theme is “Wiltshire Pubs”, so expect a spirited mix of country charm, witty pub names and clever interpretations dotted around the village.

Trail maps will be available on the day from key locations throughout Lacock, with proceeds going to support Lacock C of E Primary School. There’ll also be refreshments, stalls and activities to keep the whole family entertained.

“This event is a real highlight for the school and the village,” said the organising team. “It’s fantastic to see the creativity that goes into the scarecrows each year, and even better knowing it’s all in support of a great cause.”

Whether you’re a local or visiting for the weekend, the Lacock Scarecrow Trail promises two days of quirky charm, fresh air and plenty of smiles.
