HOME FOR CHRISTMAS announces a crew and cast tour of Picturehouse cinemas this Christmas.

Jump Start Productions, a truly independent film production company based in Brighton, is proud to announce the release of HOME FOR CHRISTMAS.

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS warms the cockles of your hearts and makes you chuckle with laughter. Starring April Pearson (SKINS, TORMENTED), Karl Davies (GAME OF THRONES, KINGDOM), Lucy Griffiths (TRUE BLOOD, ROBIN HOOD) and Derren Nesbitt (WHERE EAGLES DARE, HOT POTATO) the film has a cast and soundtrack that puts the warmth back into traditional christmas movies.

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS is from the original book written by Cally Taylor, a dedicated customer of Brighton's Duke of Yorks cinema. It follows the story of Beth Prince (April Pearson). Beth has always loved fairytales and now, aged twenty-four, she feels like she is finally on the verge of her own happily ever after. She lives by the seaside, works in a charming old cinema and has a boyfriend who is so debonair and charming she can't believe her luck!! There is just one problem - none of her boyfriend's have ever told her they love her and it doesn't look like Aiden is going to say it any time soon. Desperate to hear 'I love you' for the first time Beth takes matters into her own hands - and instantly wishes she hadn't.

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS will be touring a number of cinemas using the OURSCREEN strand of programming by Picturehouse which consequently means that if the tickets don't sell, the film isn't shown. The film will be accompanied on its tour by a number of cast and crew who will be hosting Q and A's at each event.

There will also be the opportunity for local filmmakers to get involved at each venue with slots available to screen two short film before each of the screenings.
