Gurler Mae Group Launches ConstructionKit, an AI Platform to Help UK Contractors Stop Wasting Thousands on Losing Bids

Gurler Mae Group has launched ConstructionKit, an AI-powered pre-tender intelligence platform designed to help UK construction contractors qualify bid opportunities before committing estimating resources.

The platform aggregates data from 417 local planning authority portals, Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, DEFRA ecology databases, Environment Agency flood risk data, and Historic England records. It uses AI to score every commercial construction project in England for risk, ecology flags, and margin sensitivity - giving estimators and quantity surveyors a clear picture of whether a project is worth pricing before they open a single drawing.

According to industry data, the average competitive tender win rate for UK contractors sits between 1 in 8 and 1 in 12. A senior estimator spending 60 hours pricing a single bid represents a significant cost to businesses, particularly for SME contractors turning over between 2 million and 20 million pounds annually.

Emre Gurler, founder of Gurler Mae Group and ConstructionKit, said: "The construction industry has had access to project data for years. But data alone does not solve the problem. ConstructionKit analysis of over 310 commercial projects found that only 41 percent had full planning consent, clean ecology surveys, and an identifiable funding source. The remaining 59 percent carried risks that most contractors only discover after committing significant estimating time.

The platform is available to UK contractors on a subscription basis, with plans starting from £199 pounds per month and a Commercial founding member rate at £349 pounds per month. 

The company has also launched three free resources for the industry: a Pre-Tender Bid Qualification Checklist, a monthly UK Pre-Tender Intelligence Report, and the Construction Scoreboard, a free diagnostic tool that identifies a contractor's primary commercial bottleneck.
