Glen Lowes of Complete One inspires budding entrepreneurs at industry conference

This past weekend, Managing Director at Complete One Glen Lowes was a keynote speaker at an industry leadership conference held in Edinburgh.

Entrepreneurs and business owners from Glasgow, Newcastle, and London travelled to Scotland’s capital city for the event. Award winning entrepreneur and director at event-marketing specialists Complete One Glen Lowes was asked to speak on the subject of social media and branding. This was the second time this year that the business owner has been invited to talk about branding.

Back in February Mr Lowes was a keynote speaker at an industry conference in Newcastle, where he addressed delegates on the topic of building and establishing a strong personal brand. Personal branding is something that Mr Lowes has been focussing on since his trip to LA in 2016. During the transatlantic journey, Mr Lowes spent the majority of his time shadowing two of the most influential and successful entrepreneurs and business owners within the sales and marketing industry. It was during that time the Complete One MD realised how important a good personal brand was for growing a business, and upon his return, he made it his mission to start building the Glen Lowes brand.

The conference was held at the Hilton Carlton Edinburgh on Sunday September 10th. The iconic building within the city dates back to the 1900s. The building underwent refurbishment in 2016, bringing the décor back to its best. The hotel has seven meeting and function rooms offering panoramic city views. Delegates gathered in the Roseberry room for a 10a.m. start time.

Mr Lowes was one of five keynote speakers. Each speaker addressed delegates on the following subjects; mastering the basics of sales and marketing, building solid foundations, setting expectations, how to stand out and become a top performer, how to develop good leaders, the importance of business and personal branding, coaching and mentoring.
