GBUK Healthcare Launches Banana Range

The Banana range of patient moving and handling products, which includes a range of slide sheets and transfer boards, has been launched by GBUK Healthcare, part of the GBUK Group.

The Banana range includes the original Banana Board as one of its main products – a product that has been used by the NHS and individual purchasers from the UK and internationally for the last 25 years.

The official launch of the Banana range, held at the National Back Exchange Conference in Hinckley, Leicestershire, follows GBUK Ltd's acquisition of Quintal Healthcare in the first quarter of 2014 – the company which first developed the original Banana Board.

Mark Thompson, Managing Director of GBUK Healthcare, said: "The Banana range of mobility aids has been developed and designed in close collaboration with medical professionals to ensure products are specifically tailored to meet end-user needs and improve quality of life.
