EMCC launches in Slovenia

Brussels, 11 June 2019 – EMCC launched in Slovenia during a special event attended virtually by EMCC Global President, Dr Riza Kadilar

Upon signing the affiliation agreement today, EMCC President, Riza Kadilar, said ‘Welcome EMCC Slovenia, the launch of a new EMCC Affiliated Country is always such a special day however the unusual times we are living in, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, prevent me from being physically present with you. Nevertheless I am delighted that Slovenia is joining the ever growing EMCC Global community. I invite you to be an active part of EMCC by joining our WorkGroups, our activities, our online events, our conference etc. I look forward to us all working together to create a better society through mentoring, coaching, and supervision’.

Founding President of EMCC Slovenia, Dr Danijela Brečko, said ‘We strongly believe that sustainable development is possible only by investing in people and enriching human potential. The best intervention for the sustainable growth of human potential is a lifelong exchange of knowledge, experience as well as human energy, which encourages us to grow and to face the challenges posed by change. There is no need to stress that change is constant. Therefore, it is necessary to look for ways, tools and methods to understand changes and redirect them into opportunities for sustainable and quality growth of the individual, organisations, and society. Coaching, mentoring, and supervision are developing rapidly. The practice is still relatively young in Slovenija and our vision is that we shall become a country of coaching, mentoring, and supervision inspired by the mission developing a professional culture for the benefit of individuals, organisations and society. We are guided by our values: knowledge, progress, honesty, courage, empowerment, integrity, respect, and empathy. To achieve our goals, we will strive for co-operation without borders, so we are very proud that our mission has been recognized by EMCC Global. When, if not now…, the world needs more connection and co-operation. When, if not now…, we are stronger together!’
