DESIGN SUPPORT TALKS Сharity Webinars for Ukrainians

In the most difficult times, Ukrainians unite the world community of designers and architects to support Ukraine. On December 1 we are starting a charitable cycle of online meetings with the world's leading designers and artists. The organizers and ideological founders are the Ukrainian educational project - the European Design School.

The main mission of DESIGN SUPPORT TALKS is broad support for those Ukrainian designers who are forced to overcome difficulties and rethink their creative potential because of the war. Each of the lectures by designers with a world name will be thematic and will relate to different points of their activity. At the webinars, our listeners will be able to find inspiration for creativity, professional growth, and motivation to move forward despite everything. After all, we are waiting for victory and ready to rebuild Ukraine.

NAMES OF THE GLOBAL DESIGN COMMUNITY

Raffaela Manjarotti (Italy), Sebastian Herkner (Germany), Roberto Palomba (Italy), Sergio Roger (Spain), and Omer Arbel (Canada) have already confirmed their participation in the winter series of meetings. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The contribution of the opportunity to listen to 1-hour lectures of these wonderful specialists will be symbolic. The collected funds will be transferred to the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation, which takes care of children who lost their parents as a result of the war. Now CF “Children of Heroes” takes care for 1394 chbldren.

Participants with a good command of English will be able to watch the performances live and give feedback to the speaker. Those who are not sure of their language level will be able to receive a recording with a translation into Ukrainian after the lecture.

ABOUT THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF DESIGN

For more than 13 years, the European School of Design has been developing Ukrainian design education and forming a creative hub and community of designers. We have had more than 5 thousand graduates - people who decided to get or change their profession in adulthood.

In 2022, the European School of Design also opened its doors in Italy and is working on scaling up the project.
