Newcastle and London based design brand Deadgood have been named "Furniture Manufacturer of the Year" at the tenth anniversary Mixology15 awards, which took place at Old Billingsgate, London on Thursday 25th June.

The annual awards ceremony held by Mix Interiors, the leading magazine for the UK office interiors market, recognise the most influential and ground breaking companies in the commercial interiors sectors, from interior design practices to surface and furniture designers.
Judged by an independent panel of experts, the awards focus on the UK commercial interiors industry, a sector that Deadgood have developed a substantial presence in through the supply of their modern British furniture and lighting collections.

Against stiff competition from some of the leading manufacturers and suppliers in the field, Deadgood scooped the title in front of an audience of nearly 1000 attendees.

Elliot Brook, Deadgood Co-CEO commented, "Our vision is to develop one of the world's leading furniture design brands. It's fantastic for us to have been recognised by the industry for our achievements and for the hard work we continue to put into building the Deadgood brand."

Editors Notes:

Deadgood was founded by design entrepreneurs Dan Ziglam & Elliot Brook, two friends who shared a simple vision; to create an internationally respected design brand and to be recognised for developing a cutting edge collection of 21st Century design classics.

The brand has established a reputation for designing, developing and distributing an exclusive collection of products to some of the most creative and forward thinking companies in the world, supplying their own brand collections to cutting edge commercial environments within the hotel, hospitality, education and workplace sectors.

In the past twelve months, Deadgood have secured a number of prestigious UK contracts including two PRS for Music sites, Hachette Publishing, BBC Worldwide, Ernst & Young, KPMG, News International, SAGE One, WeWork & Manchester's Corn Exchange development.

The company is also seeing growth in exports with significant overseas installations for Google in Istanbul & Krakow, CISCO Offices in Prague, Cathay Pacific First Class Lounges in Asia and a hotel in BAKU's White City development. Deadgood products have also been recently supplied to a residency for a Saudi Prince.
