COLCHESTER, ESSEX — September 2026: A study of 324 Google Business Profiles has revealed the most-reviewed restaurants across 34 restaurant categories in the Colchester area.
Independent and local restaurants feature strongly. North Hill Noodle Bar has amassed 2,183 Google reviews while maintaining a 4.7-star rating, while Rim Jhim Spice has 1,336 reviews at 4.8 stars.
Other local standouts include West Mersea Oyster Bar with 1,381 reviews, Talbooth Restaurant with 1,059, The Company Shed with 998 and Bellapais Steak House & Greek Restaurant with 959.
Smaller businesses also achieved some of the study's highest ratings, including Momo & More, which has a 4.9-star rating.
