CMB Empire: New Confidence Leads To Record Number Of Start-up Businesses
News provided by CMB Empire on Friday 21st Mar 2014
New figures from Start-up Britain show that British entrepreneurs have created a record number of new businesses in 2013. CMB Empire believe that increasing support from the government has led to growing confidence among entrepreneurs to run their own business.
The new year has started with a positive vibe for British entrepreneurs. In fact, according to an article on Realbusiness.co.uk, unemployment figures continue to decrease and the Bank of England has upped its forecast for economic growth in 2014 from 2.8% to 3.4%. Government statistics show that micro and small businesses represent 95% of all companies and employ over seven million people in Great Britain. “With increasing support, more entrepreneurs than ever have the courage to start up their own business”, says Michael Caster, Managing Director of CMB Empire.
Research from the national enterprise campaign reveals that 526,446 businesses were registered with Companies House in 2013. This is an increase compared to 484,224 businesses recorded in 2012 and 440,600 in 2011. These figures are provided by StartUp Britain’s daily tracker, an online tool which counts the number of businesses registered with Companies House on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
Michael Caster of CMB Empire says: “It is excellent to see this new confidence among British entrepreneurs. Small businesses are the key to economic growth and it is great that more and more creative individuals have the courage to start up their own business.” Michael Caster is certain that growing government support has led to these positive figures. There has been an increase in lending to small firms through the Funding for Lending Scheme introduced in September 2012. Latest figures provided by the Bank of England show that lending was 27% higher compared to the same time last year. Furthermore, the Bank’s Owner Managed Businesses Barometer shows that 68% of business owners found the lending process relatively easy.
CMB Empire, an outsourced sales and marketing firm based in Sheffield, are positive about the future as confidence among business owners is high. Michael Caster would however like to see further government support in order to see Britain’s economy flourish. Entrepreneur Michael Caster has opened up his firm in early 2014 and has since increased CMB Empire’s client base and their clients’ ROI by over 20%. He is now providing advice and guidance to other entrepreneurs who are planning to start up their own business in 2014. Furthermore, Michael Caster is preparing to expand with CMB Empire into further markets by the close of this year.
