Wendy Wu Tours Offers Even Wider Range of Touring With the 2016/2017 Southeast Asia Brochure
The launch of Wendy Wu Tours' 2016/2017 Southeast Asia brochure showcases even more styles of touring to suit a wider range of travellers. As well as the core 'classic' product being expanded, a new 'Discovery Tours' collection has been added to suit more adventurous travellers. The Exclusive Collection, which launched at the beginning of 2015, has added exclusive experiences in the new brochure, which aren't offered by any other operator and cater for those looking for the ultimate luxury Asia experience. Wendy Wu Tours is also proud to announce that all Asia prices have been lowered for 2016 and its single supplements have been frozen for the second year running, showing its continuing commitment to the solo traveller. In addition to their award winning group tours, Wendy Wu can also arrange fully bespoke tailor-made holidays throughout Asia.
Discovery Tours
The three itineraries in the new Discovery Tours collection allow customers to see Southeast Asia from a new perspective and in a more immersive way. The tours, across Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia visit the countries' most iconic sites but in more unusual ways such as cycling and hiking through key sites and areas, seeing Angkor Wat by tuk tuk, taking a Vespa through Saigon and experiencing a homestay on the Mekong Delta.
An example Discovery Tour is the 17 day Reflections of Vietnam tour. This covers Vietnam's biggest cities and main landmarks but also includes a six hour hike through the Sapa Rice Terraces, a Tai Chi lesson on the deck of a junk boat on Halong Bay, a bike ride through the scenic rice paddies outside Hoi An, a rickshaw bike ride or xeloi ride through the rural villages and verdant greens of the Mekong Delta and a homestay on the Delta. 2016 departure dates are 9th September and 11th November. The tour costs from £2,590pp on a fully inclusive basis*.
Exclusive Collection
The Exclusive Collection has had some additions for 2016/2017 offering Wendy Wu guests an even more luxurious and unique experience. The collection offers iconic Asia itineraries with 5* accommodation, luxury extras and unique experiences, many of which are only available with Wendy Wu Tours.
New elements in the brochure include a speedboat excursion along the Mekong Delta, which is usually visited by cruise on many tour operator itineraries. Guests will be whisked along the languid waters passing lush verdant fields, rice paddy farmers collecting the freshest crop and palm lined canals. Also available is a Hanoi cuisine cyclo tour, experiencing Vietnam's world renowned cuisine on two wheels, winding the streets of the Old Quarter in search of delectable nibbles. Back by popular demand is the luxury Victoria Express Train, which hasn't been seen on Wendy Wu itineraries for two years. The train travels through northern Vietnam and offers impeccable service, plush cabins, air conditioning and large windows to enjoy the mesmerising scenery.
An example of an Exclusive Collection tour is 17 day Classical Vietnam.Journeying from Saigon in the south to Hanoi in the north, the trip takes visitors through Vietnam's harrowing history, imperial grandeur and natural majesty. Unique elements include the Mekong Delta by speedboat and seeing imperial Hue by cyclo. Other highlights include seeing the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Marble Mountains and the sunrise over Halong Bay. The 2016 departures are on 4th March and 28th October.
