Visible Lighting Responds to New 100-Foot LED String Light System

LED specialists Visible Lighting have responded to Larson Electronics’ new 100-foot low voltage LED string light system.

Leading lighting manufacturer Larson Electronics has announced the release of the 100-foot WAL-SL-10-LED-2-TXF LED string light – designed for use in work areas. The new string light system will utilise LED technology’s versatility and durability to create a superior option for operators on job sites.

Incandescent string lights, which have been typically used, raise problems when they begin over-heating, and they consume huge amounts of energy when compared to the greener, more energy-efficient LED bulbs used in Larson Electronics’ new model. The string lights feature 10 watt LED lamps, which actually produce more energy than the 100 watt incandescent lights used on older models. This makes it suitable for standard voltage and low voltage function.

The string light system is incredibly durable, designed to withstand the tough conditions of a typical work site. Each light is protected by a mesh guard, which also allows operators to hang them overhead. With LED lamps, you will be able to supply more light to the area using the same amp draw as incandescent lights, and each LED lamp has a range of 5 to 8 ft. The cable itself is as heavy duty as the lamps, with the lights connected by a 14/2 SJTW cable.
