The Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Awareness-Building Initiative publishes its first scientific content on the Lymphoma Hub

News provided by Scientific Education Support on Tuesday 6th Jun 2023

The International Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) and Scientific Education Support (SES) are pleased to announce that new Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM) content is now available on the Lymphoma Hub, as part of the WM Awareness-Building Initiative.

The aim of developing these resources is to support healthcare professionals worldwide by helping them make informed treatment decisions and ensuring that patients have access to the latest support and treatment options.

This new content includes a visual abstract on a phase I/II trial of pirtobrutinib in patients with R/R WM (BRUIN trial) and an article on the treatment landscape for relapsed/refractory WM. The IWMF’s “Talking with your WM patients” resource is also available for HCPs to access on the Lymphoma Hub, and a visual summary of this guide has been developed.

The IWMF and Lymphoma Hub are working in collaboration for patients with WM. This initiative aims to increase awareness of WM among healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and the patient advocacy community.

This initiative and associated content is funded by Cellectar Biosciences. All content is developed independently by SES in collaboration with an expert steering committee; funders are allowed no direct influence on the content of the hub.
