The return of Newcastle Art Ball

News provided by Creative Culture Trust CIO on Wednesday 9th Dec 2015

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE – This year Breeze Creatives and ¡VAMOS! have decided to bring back the Art Ball, a Newcastle tradition where the local arts community come together for a Christmas party; and we would love for you, your colleagues and organisation to be part of this… so we are asking that instead of celebrating Christmas amongst yourselves that the whole of the arts community join together for shared celebration and an opportunity to raise money for a great cause.

This year we will be asking a small ticket price and the donation of a small gift so that both profits and items can be donated to West End Refugee Service, a local organisation in desperate need of help.

To celebrate this weird and wonderful alternative Christmas we have a brilliant line up to get this year's Christmas off to a great start, with surprise acts alongside "Lady Annabella Marczewska of Jesmond” , "Hip Hop Hooray”, and much more, of course in-keeping with the festive spirit there will be a festive piñata competition!

As well as a great evening we hope the Art Ball will be an opportunity for us all to get together and celebrate our community, the great things we do and the people that we do them with.

Venue: ¡VAMOS! Social, Bamburgh House, Market Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6BH
Date: December 19th, 9pm - 2am
Tickets: £5 in advance from Eventbrite or £6 on the door.
