The Art of Ping Pong
The Art of Ping Pong – 21 of the UK's most exciting artists and illustrators create bespoke ping pong bat artworks in aid of BBC Children in Need
In 2013 Fivefootsix created The Art of Ping Pong, inviting ten of the UK's most exciting artists and illustrators – including Christopher Wormell, Remi Rough and Kate Copeland – to create bespoke ping pong bat artworks in aid of BBC Children in Need.
We raised over £1,000, but this year we want to do even better so we've collaborated with Beach London opening the project up to include more artists and an exhibition at their East London gallery, running from Tuesday 4th to Sunday 16th November.
An official launch night – open to all – takes place on Thursday November 6th from 7pm, with a limited edition publication available to purchase.
Featuring among the 21 artists this year are Camille Walala, Jean Jullien, Pete Fowler, Rob Flowers and Malarky, as well as a some exciting fresh new talent!
Once again, each artwork is available via auction at theartofpingpong.co.uk.

The project wouldn't have been possible without the support of some incredibly generous friends of Fivefootsix. The auction site was produced by Roll Studio with bat photography by John Ross and retouching by Deadposh. The bats were once again kindly supplied by Topspin Sports and the limited edition publication was printed by Empress Litho on Munken Pure Rough (by Arctic Paper).
Press release distributed by Pressat on behalf of Fivefootsix, on Thursday 6 November, 2014. For more information subscribe and follow https://pressat.co.uk/
