Ten Acre - Where Popcorn Grows On Trees!
From Popowa to Popperley and now .....The World
Once the closely guarded secret of the ancient Popowa tribe but now about to be discovered here in the UK for the first time - it's the new Ten Acre premium popcorn.
Those innovative, yet ever so slightly eccentric, creators of Ten Acre premium hand cooked crisps have unveiled a new addition from Ten Acre village - popcorn. Freshly handpicked from the Popperley orchards of Ten Acre where popping trees bloom and grow, this isn't just any popcorn - it also gluten, dairy and MSG free as well as vegan and vegetarian.
Ten Acre have created popcorn in five exciting and luxurious new varieties - Cornelius Popperley's Sour Cream & Chive, Captain Theodore's Lime & Sea Salt, Cousin Maisie's Fennel & Lemon, Ambrose Popperley's Wasabi and Aunty Winifred's Sweet & Salty.
Not just for munching with movies, Ten Acre popcorn can be beautifully paired with drinks, complementing a glass of bubbly or a refreshing gin and tonic. Enjoy as a snack on its own or even a quirky flavour and texture to add a finishing twist to a platter of food - simple yet sophisticated. Each flavour is brought to life in Ten Acre's fictional village, where there is a story behind every variety.
Tony Goodman, Ten Acre CEO, commented: "Ever since we launched our premium hand cooked crisps, we knew we wanted to grow our range. In order to do that we also had to expand our wonderful, yet fictional, Ten Acre village. So as we derived new flavours for our popcorn range - we also introduced more characters - The Popperleys - and their amazing adventures.
"It is a Ten Acre custom that each packet has its own story to tell - and that theme continues with our popcorn. This is no ordinary popcorn though. Not only does it grow on trees and is harvested by hand - ahem! - it also maintains that other important and serious Ten Acre tradition. It is dairy, gluten and MSG free, as well as vegan and vegetarian. It is a snack for everyone to enjoy."
