Talented female hip-hop artist Abby Power returns with her debut LP, Transitions!

This April see’s the release of the anticipated debut LP from talented hip-hop artist, Abby Power, as she returns once more with her debut LP, Transitions, which is now available on iTunes, Bandcamp and more. With a transcendent mix of old school hip-hop and new school enthusiasm, Abby continues to resurrect the iconic sounds of hip-hop’s finest eras, while ambitiously infusing her unique and charismatic style. Following her debut mixtape ‘Vintage State of Mind’, Abby has continued to develop her talents, with several videos released in 2013 such as ‘Clockwork’ and ‘Uprise’ to name a few. Amongst this, Abby spent the latter part of 2013 collaborating with gifted UK hip-hop rap artist Tabanacle from the group Black Triangle, on the track ‘Forgive the Sinner’ with LinkUP TV, a special feature set for Transitions.

Since signing to Vintage State Music, Inc. in January 2012, Abby continues to prove that she belongs in the music industry, with over 210,000 hits on popular US music portal Exposed Vocals and special praise from famous music singer/songwriter Skylar Grey as well as upcoming features in some of the UK’s most popular urban music publications. So far in 2014, Abby’s progress has continued to escalate, with her first visual of 2014 being a collaborative visual with legendary DefJam poet, Shihan titled ‘Wake Up Call’, a track featured on MCTV UK, saw Abby display her lyrical talent alongside the iconic style of spoken word displayed brilliantly by Shihan himself.

Heading into the third year of existence, Vintage State continues to support and develop programs targeted at developing not only urban music, but urban culture, providing a sustainable platform for growth and success for independent artists and musicians. This is further signaled by Abby’s latest release as her emotion and talent highlights her rapid crossover into the mainstream scene.
