News provided by Sunfield Childrens Homes Limited on Wednesday 3rd Jul 2013
Sunfield Children’s Homes, a National UK Charity and independent residential special school and children’s home in Stourbridge have appointed a new Chief Executive, Michael Frosch.
He joins Sunfield from Ruskin Mill Trust, where he has been College Principle for over a decade and Director of Education for over two years. Michael is currently in the final stages studying for an Executive MBA at the University of Bath. Michael took up the post of chief executive at the end of May.
Welcoming Michael, Chair of Trustees, David Clement at Sunfield Children’s Homes said "I am delighted that Michael is joining Sunfield as our new Chief Executive. He brings with him a wealth of success and knowledge within the education, care and business sector. He is the right person with the right blend of skills, experience and, above all, vision to lead and further develop and enhance the care, wellbeing and education we offer to our children and their families.
"This is a very exciting time for Sunfield, with the development of a new long term strategy, for the further growth and development of the organisation. Michael’s track record in the statutory and voluntary sectors and his strategic experience will help to ensure Sunfield will go from strength to strength".
Commenting on his appointment, Michael Frosch said "I am very much looking forward to working with all at Sunfield, the charity's staff, students and volunteers to ensure Sunfield continues to be a strong voice for the needs of the SEN sector and their parents.”
“I am looking forward to ensuring Sunfield continues to grow as a centre of excellence, enabling it to continue to fulfil its vision of a world in which all children and young people with complex needs and autism realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community which supports them and their families.”
