Start Young Global Young Entrepreneur Awards 2014 Has An Impressive List Of Nominated Young Entrepreneurs

This February marked the one year anniversary since the official launch of Start Young Global.
Since their launch last year SYG have met and proudly helped hundreds of ambitious young entrepreneurs on their journey in the world of business, their objective of empowering Britain’s Young Entrepreneurs is consistently reinforced through various mediums, including seminars, events and training programmes in addition to their online business resource hub.

In an effort to further promote Young Enterprise they are hosting an evening dedicated to recognising and celebrating outstanding achievements made by young business owners in the UK. Lina Gadi, Start Young Global founder and CEO says “it’s important that we continue to do all we can to encourage and support young enterprise. They are the future business leaders and by supporting their growth, we are also creating new job opportunities for others”, she goes on to state “something as simple as an award can have a huge impact on morale. The journey of entrepreneurship is never easy and so to be recognised for your efforts does a lot to someone’s determination to keep going”.
Youth unemployment is an ongoing issue not just affecting school leavers but also new graduates who are finding it just as hard to find permanent employment. Senior Vice President, Aaron Wallace believes that “without alternative career options available to school leavers both our economy and future generations are being done a disservice”.
As a result of the lack of job opportunities many young people are opting to start businesses of their own and go into full time self-employment. Start Young Global wants to celebrate this.
Over the last few weeks they have received a high volume of entrants across our thirteen categories, this has also lead to a large buzz across our social networks, join the conversation using the hashtag #SYGAwards
Winners will be decided through an elimination process which will include a combination of public votes and votes given by our judging panel.
