ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHAS 18001:2007 Accreditation Achieved for Sims Recycling Solutions' Stalybridge Processing Site

United Kingdom December 1st, 2015 – Sims Recycling Solutions is pleased to announce their Stalybridge, UK, recycling site has achieved accreditation to both the ISO 14001:2004 standard of environmental management and BS OHAS 18001:2007 standard of occupational health and safety management. The services at Stalybridge are accredited under the existing certification which already covers Sims Recycling Solutions IT Asset Disposal, Data Security and Mobile Processing Sites and Services.

BS OHSAS 18001 certifies that Stalybridge has in place the policies, procedures and controls required to achieve occupational health and safety management best practice. Hazards are identified and managed so that workplace accidents and illness are minimized. The ISO 14001 standard confirms that an effective and efficient environmental management policy is in place. These certifications, along with ISO 9001 achieved by Stalybridge in October, are part of Sims Recycling Solutions' plan for rolling out consistent management systems and standards across all sites worldwide
