RVA Surveyors appoints a new Lead Surveyor

News provided by RVA Surveyors on Tuesday 4th Jul 2023

RVA Surveyors have appointed David Waldron as senior surveyor; with the remit of continuing to grow and support their team of surveyors. Previously David has worked within the disciplines of acquisition, lease consultancy, rating (both council and private sector), and property management. With over eighteen years as a multi-disciplined surveyor, he brings an abundance of experience to the role.

David is the newest in a series of appointments to the management team at RVA Surveyors. As the UK’s leading independent business rates reduction specialist, RVA has made this appointment to meet the rising demand from clients and to further the development of their existing surveyors.

“I am very excited by the size of the opportunity here at RVA and how we can work together,” David said.

“To date I have been very impressed with what I have experienced at RVA in terms of their capability and level of service. I look forward to developing initiatives at RVA that will help elevate them even further in terms of services provided, client care, and impeccable industry standards.”

David’s appointment will see him take a place as part of RVA Surveyors ’s management team, and as a RICS certified mentor, focusing on mentoring the surveying team and helping guide the department into new avenues.

“I am looking forward to working closely with David as we develop our surveying team further,” Clare Whitfield, Head of Surveying and Operations, said.

“And as we look to creating additional services, I know that his experience and help will be invaluable in this endeavour. As David is a RICS certified mentor, we are also pleased that he will be mentoring our team of surveyors to their APC.”

As part of their commitment to developing their teams, RVA Surveyors hosts several internal training programmes – including a six-month surveyor training programme which, outside of David Waldron, all of RVA’s current surveyors joined the business through.

“We are extremely pleased that David has joined RVA,” Anthony Hughes, Managing Director at RVA Surveyors, said.

“He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and will act as a guiding hand and mentor to elevate our surveyor’s knowledge and expertise even further. With David onboard, we can see a clear path to delivering an even stronger service to our clients and achieving record levels of reductions.”
