​Portsmouth agency cleaning up in industry awards

It just goes to show that not all the great digital talent lies inside the M25 - Portsmouth-based agency Vertical Leap has recently scooped some major industry awards. The company is building on its success over the last few years, having been named as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 company in 2012, then in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA in both 2012 and 2013. To add to that, it scooped Best Use of Search in the Wirehive 100 and is listed in the Top 5 digital agencies to work with in the Wirehive 100.

However, the real cream of the crop was at a prestigious event held in London on 17^th September. The Drum Digital Census is a major industry report that provides the most comprehensive review of agencies supplying digital services in the UK. The Digital Census comprises three main polls: financial, client and peer. Agencies that featured in all three polls - ranking consistently well - achieve elite status.

Vertical Leap was then ranked against the performance of its peers in the table to determine its rank and was proud to be placed 2^nd which was a great achievement considering it was competing with others across the UK, including the major players in London.

This isn’t just another industry award, but true recognition of the great team and great work that they do.”

Vertical Leap is definitely one to watch. The company was a recent finalist in the 2014 South Coast Business Awards for commitment to education and training, a true reflection of its investment in its employees. It is clearly paying off.

More award announcements coming up, but it is nice to know that Vertical Leap is harvesting and nurturing some real talent in Portsmouth and is being recognised nationally.
