Oxford Energy Partners LLP Hires Technical & Operations Director

Brian Twaddle joins Co-Founders as Managing Partner

London, UK, June 14, 2017– Oxford Energy Partners LLP (OEP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Twaddle as Managing Partner, Technical & Operations Director. Brian will lead OEP’s team of sub-surface technical experts, oversee producing fields and drive our process of value maximisation from development opportunities. He joins OEP from Transglobe Energy Corporation where he was Country Manager, with responsibility for the upstream business in Egypt. Prior to this Brian worked for Dana Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell. He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.

Lawrence Tal Co-Founder added, ‘Attracting someone of Brian’s calibre is a major coup for OEP. His experience of working with partners and governments to deliver competitive projects will enhance OEP’s ability to execute planned field developments’.

During Brian’s career, he has established Exploration & Production businesses in emerging markets, had responsibility for design, project management, oil and gas asset operations onshore and offshore. At Shell, he was responsible for Joint Industry Projects developing and implementing new technology across the UKCS. He has a successful track record of establishing and maintaining good relations with governments, regulators and partners, acting in both operated and non-operated ventures.
