New Life Emerges at NN
NN celebrates recent graduate artists in New Life
At NN Contemporary Art this winter, New Life celebrates the graduate artists of 2014. The exhibition presents selected artwork by recent graduates from a 50mile radius of Northampton.
Artistic Director, Catherine Hemelryk, has been scouting for New Life at degree shows from Oxford to Cambridge, Leicester to Luton, Coventry and Northampton. The exhibition brings together selected works by Fine Art graduates using media ranging from photography to painting and installation.
The Opening Night on Wednesday 17 December 2014 marks the gallery's 2nd birthday at Number Nine Guildhall Road. Everyone is invited to celebrate the upcoming generations of artists in New Life and two full and busy years at NN from 6pm.
Events accompanying New Life include Crit Group, Write Club and a Film Night featuring student classic Starter for 10 and Educating Rita.

About NN Contemporary Art
NN is a contemporary art space in the centre of Northampton. This project is part of NN's Northampton Multiverse series of exhibitions exploring different artist's worlds. The graduate show series began at Fishmarket and this is the first edition since its hiatus during the move to NN. Now firmly back in the programme this series alternates with NN's Open Exhibition as the final exhibition of the year.
NN is dedicated to presenting and supporting artists at all stages of their careers. Opportunities include regular events such as Crit Group, Write Club and CPD workshops. All artists, be they students, graduates or otherwise, are invited to apply to use NN's top floor Project Space. There is a rolling open call for experimental projects to take place in the space and you can find out more information about the Project Space and how to apply at NN's website: www.nncontemporaryart.org/spaces/project-space
