New Einaudi score published alongside the free original backing track!

Today legendary pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi publishes a brand new score from his much-anticipated forthcoming album 'Elements' (Decca Records) scheduled for mid-October release.

In an unprecedented move the composer has made the score of its second track, 'Night', complete with the free original backing track created by the composer himself, available through Sheet Music Direct from today.

The album takes inspiration from elements of nature, with each track evolving from a small gesture or motif. The opening keyboard loop forms the identity for 'Night', which develops gradually with gentle cross rhythms from the piano, blended with rich harmonies and scalic fragments from the strings (recorded on the album by the Amsterdam Sinfonietta).

It is testimony to Einaudi's huge popularity that his music always sells well not only as recordings but also as sheet music, although this is traditionally published after the recordings are released.

The sheet music to 'Night' and the free original backing track are available to download now at sheetmusicdirect.com. The sheet music is also available in the Sheet Music Direct for iPad app.
