London, April 2021 – Last week, Netstar Project Manager, Sarah Barraclough achieved her QA Foundation Certificate in Cyber Security.
Certified by the National Cyber Security Centre, the QA Foundation Certificate in Cyber Security is an international accreditation that proves Sarah’s knowledge of cyber security in an everchanging digital world.
The course focuses on the following security skills:
- Common methods of attack
- The cyber and legal framework
- Digital footprints
- Network security
- Proactive monitoring
- Risk management
- Threat modelling
- Virtualisation and cloud technologies
The certification covers a comprehensive and high-level overview across industry-standard technology and platforms, illuminating the technology and its specific cyber governance, risk, and assurance challenges.
In order to achieve the certification, Sarah dedicated 3-4 hours each evening after work for 6 weeks, 5 days a week! This allowed her to build her cyber security knowledge and skillset to pass the final examination and earn her certification.
As such, Sarah has gone above and beyond to enhance her knowledge of the current security landscape, giving her the power to better assist our clients with their own security environments.
