Netstar IT Support London successfully renew their Cyber Essentials Plus certification!

London, 1^st September 2020 – Last week Netstar successfully renewed their Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry-supported scheme that demonstrates an organisation’s ability to protect themselves from cyber threats and prevent cyber-attacks.

There are two levels of certification, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. Netstar successfully renewed their Cyber Essentials certification in April 2020, which you can find out more about, here. The Cyber Essentials Plus renewal goes one step further, with a hands-on technical verification and assessment from external professionals.

Overall, the certification assess five key security controls:

• Internet connection security
• Devices and software security
• Controlled access to data and services
• Protection from viruses and malware
• Updating devices and software

Successfully renewing their Cyber Essentials Plus certification proves Netstar’s dedication to maximising their own cyber security and the security of their clients, in line with their mission to ‘Help People Succeed Through Technology’.
