MYL BERLIN: Only German Fashion Brand at London Fashion Week AW26/27

Broken Enough | London Fashion Week Collection "BROKEN ENOUGH?", presented in collaboration with conceptual artist Natalie von Matt.

Berlin, February 16, 2026 – Renowned for merging the resilience of the Berlin underground with the rebellious energy of London, the Berlin-based fashion label MYL BERLIN, in collaboration with conceptual artist Natalie von Matt, presents the Autumn/Winter 26/27 collection "BROKEN ENOUGH?" as part of the official London Fashion Week schedule. This season, MYL BERLIN once again stands as the only German fashion brand on the official London Fashion Week calendar. The show will be broadcast live from Berlin-Neukölln on February 20, 2026. On-site, Natalie von Matt will present selected works from her series "Broken Childhood."

The collection "Broken Enough?" tells the story of shattering the chains we once mistook for love, home, heritage, or security. For some, it means leaving a war-torn country. For others, it is saying goodbye to an abusive relationship, breaking the silence on childhood trauma, or reclaiming an identity that others refused to accept. The almost defiant question "Broken Enough?" confronts the past with personal resilience and strength, looking forward toward the reconstruction of one’s own identity.

About the Collection "BROKEN ENOUGH?"

This is not a story about being saved. It is dedicated to the moment you stop asking to be understood.

Autumn/Winter 26/27 is the anatomy of a turning point. A spirit trapped in chains it did not forge - shaped by gender roles, loyalty, fear, and the quiet pressure to remain eternally grateful.

For years, we lived in them. We polished them. We disguised them as love, duty, or fate until the illusion shattered and we realized that the only thing holding the metal together was our fear of the sound it would make when it broke.

Then, the question is no longer asked from the ground, but at eye level. Broken enough? Not as a plea. Not as proof of defeat. It is a mirror you hold up to the one who tried to break you, stripping them of the power they thought they possessed.

"Am I good enough?" becomes "I am good enough. I always was."

It is the decision to let the past exist without allowing it to dictate the future. To no longer need protection, permission, or an apology. To preserve one's own warmth, even when the world turns cold.

We channel the moment the lock snaps open, the fear vanishes, and clarity takes its place.

The sound of my chains hitting the floor was the only apology I left behind. I am not a circumstance. I am the blaze.

Special Presentation by Natalie von Matt

As part of the runway show, conceptual artist Natalie von Matt will present selected works from her series "Broken Childhood," a series based on assemblage and calligraphy that deals with the long shadows of upbringing. Her work explores how childhood shapes the architecture of adult life and how self-doubt often stems not from the present, but from early moments of rejection, violence, silence, or unfulfilled needs.
