LONDON BUS STRIKE CAUSES HAVOC ON THE ROADS

The London bus strike has caused havoc on the roads this morning with 2156 separate congestion hotspots recorded at 08.30.

Across the Greater London area there were 1282 miles of tailbacks according to TomTom Traffic.

The average total jam length during the Tuesday morning peak hour in London is 501 miles.

The worst congestion was on the A12 in Essex heading towards London, with stationary traffic for 15 miles causing two hours of delays.

Drivers are advised to check TomTom Live Traffic for the latest updates on road conditions.
