Philip Grant, Chairman of the Scottish Executive Committee, Lloyds Banking Groupsaid: "Waverley Care offers vital support to people with HIV and Hepatitis. It is an organisation with a committed and professional workforce and we were all impressed and humbled to learn more about its great work and to give some of our insight and support which will hopefully deliver lasting benefits.

"Lloyds Banking Group is committed to bringing communities closer together across Scotland and a big part of that is delivered through colleague volunteering. We have set a target of reaching 2.3million paid volunteering hours across the UK by 2020. This will be achieved by working with organisations such as Waverly Care that support and transform lives across Scotland."

Years of volunteering support

Grant Sugden, Chief Executive of Waverley Care said: "We are so grateful to colleagues from Lloyds Banking Group for their continued volunteering support. Spending the day with the Scottish Executive Committee was such a fantastic learning opportunity for us. We'd like to thank them for giving up their time to share their skills and expertise with Waverley Care. Their insights will help us make an even bigger difference in the future to people affected by HIV and Hepatitis C in Scotland."
