Licence Bureau has won the 2015 Fleet World Honours award for Innovation in Risk Management for their Compliance Managed Services (CMS) licence checking portal.

The fleet driving licence checking and compliance company emerged victorious in the new Innovation Honours section, that rewards products that have helped fleets better manage operations.

Licence Bureau was presented with the accolade at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall yesterday (19 May) after successfully demonstrating the CMS portal's ability to build on their standard licence checking service for a wide range of clients.

Its portal, also available on smartphone and tablet, includes a number of features including car hire, owner-driver management, risk excellence, employee verification and access to road safety charity Brake's reports. It can also seamlessly incorporate data from clients' other third-party suppliers involved in compliance.

The portal offers a comprehensive licence checking service for fleets, as well as giving the customer access to a wide range of tools that keeps tabs on a company's fleet of drivers, highlighting any potential risks or non-compliance issues through bespoke risk alerts, allowing them to continue adhering to Duty of Care obligations.

Malcolm Maycock, Managing Director of Licence Bureau, says: "We are delighted the Fleet World judges have awarded our CMS portal the Innovation in Risk Management award. It's a testament to the Licence Bureau team that continue to drive forward the agenda for licence checking by taking a fresh approach to risk prevention for a number of our clients."

Steve Moody, Editor of Fleet World, adds: "Licence Bureau's slick new Compliance Managed Services portal benefits fleets by allowing them to analyse and manage their risk across a number of different areas including HR, insurance and incident management, while offering alerts and interventions where needed. With the abolition of the paper counterpart looming, it's a perfect tool for fleets both at base and on the road."
